Non riesco a capire perché però venga utilizzato di default un kernel 2.4 anziché un kernel 2.6 (che comunque è presente in opzione). I can not understand why but is used by default a 2.4 kernel instead of a kernel 2.6 (which is present in option). Qualcuno, più ferrato di me con Linux, ne ha idea? Someone, me more at ease with Linux, has idea?

Proprio così, Firefox distribuito per Debian diventerà Freefox. That's right, Firefox will be distributed for Debian Freefox.
Sembra infatti che tra Debian e Mozilla ci siano stati battibecchi riguardo al logo (diverso dall’originale) utilizzato per firefox su questa distribuzione. It appears that between Mozilla and Debian we have been bickering about the logo (other than the original) used for firefox on this distribution.

calma, so che è quasi un controsenso calm, so that is almost a contradiction … ma immaginatevi uno sviluppatore web che lavora sotto linux e vuole testare le proprie pagine su internet explorer… come potrebbe fare se non volesse installarsi per forza un Windows XP? ... But imagine a web developer who works under linux and wants to test their pages on internet explorer ... how could I not want to force install a Windows XP?

dovrebbe usare wine e farsi venire la nausea a configurarlo (o romperle al sistemista del caso :P)… in alternativa c’è IEs 4 Linux che fondamentalmente è uno script di installazione automatizzato per Wine + IE… alcune cose carine: should use wine and let come to the nausea configure it (or break the system applicable: P) ... alternatively there IES 4 Linux which is essentially an automated installation script for Wine + IE ... some nice things:

• funziona già con Internet Explorer 7 already works with Internet Explorer 7
• permette di usare il Flash Player 9 che su linux, correggetemi se sbaglio, non esiste ancora. allows the use of Flash Player 9 on Linux correggetemi if I am wrong, does not yet exist.
• compatibile con buona parte dei plugin nativi compatible with many of the native plugin
• è ovviamente gratis is of course free
